As part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, English rockers The Rolling Stones have announced plans to perform four live concerts before the end of the year. Sarah Mills reports.

It’s five years since The Rolling Stones last performed together as a band. Now, to mark their 50th anniversary the British rock group are back: Performing on a stage that’s going to be designed around their trademark tongue and lips logo, organisers are promising The Stones shows will be high-tech live experiences. Their last world tour played to 4.5 million people – so demand for tickets is likely to be high. Passes go on sale for the UK gigs on Friday, with the New Jersey tickets on sale next Friday.
